August 26th to 28th is Paperific so you will see us at the show, this is usually the weekend of our Sensational Crops Days but you will see that I have had to amend some of  the dates. Sensational Saturday is on the 20th August and there will be no Sensational Sunday for this month, apologies but we will be packing up goods to take to the show.

Regular Classes have been scheduled like Copic, Heritage, Travel, Card Making, Kit Class as well as some new Single & Double Page Layouts – there is also quite a few extra Crop Days for you to attend, this would be the perfect chance to come along and complete any unfinished projects that you need assistance with as the Design Team will be coming in the end of August to collect all current projects that are on display.

The time has come for me to move to a new chapter of life, an opportunity has been offered to me and after many months of weighing up all the options I have decided to return to my previous employment. Before becoming the owner of Scraptacular I worked in the building industry as a regional manager for 16 years. Yep complete opposite isn’t it …. selling nuts & bolts or playing with papercrafts everyday !!! The past 4 years has been so very rewarding in many ways, sharing new ideas, creating many amazing keepsakes, but most of all it would have to be meeting so many wonderful customers and friends, I want to thank you all for joining me in this venture and of course your continual support which has allowed Scraptacular to be the most succesful papercraft shop it is today.

So it is with a little sadness that I am announcing that Scraptacular is FOR SALE.
This is a great business which is looking for someone with the passion, energy and drive to take it to the next level. The Scraptacular new Website and on-line shop along with the latest stock, shop fittings, class tools, cctv security, ducted heating & cooling all in a large 295 sq meter shop is just part of the package that is offered as part of the sale.

Big news ~ happy to announce that Julie Van Oosten from Collections will be teaching classes at Scraptacular on May 21st & 22nd, this will coincide with the newly released products that are sure to be very popular, wait till you see the great samples and projects planned for the weekend. A selection of Classes will be held on both Saturday and Sunday and you are welcome to attend as many classes as you like. All details regarding prices and times will be sent out in our e-newsletter and also on our website, keep watch and get in early to avoid any disappointment.

The Scraptacular Retreat is being held on July 22nd to 24th, bookings are being taken now. Last year was a huge success with everyone having a ball. If you are interested please make sure you get in early as we usually book out very quickly.

Our winter getaway at The Country Place, Kalorama is the perfect place to spend 3 days scrapbooking with good company, divine food and great entertainment.

Due to popular demand we will be providing a variety of Class Kits which will be available to order from early July, all details will be forwarded upon request.

And finally ~ as the winter months approach I have decided to amend the shop hours and will no longer be open every Sunday. I have also changed the trading hours during the week, please see the new details on the header of this newsletter.
