My name is Catherine Pineda, I live in Narre Warren Victoria with my husband of 16 years and my daughter Kathryn 15.  Scrapbooking is my passion, I’ve been doing scrapbooking for 5 years now and I can say that I’m really a scrap addict.  My scrapping style is somewhat eclectic, I like to try and discover new techniques, bright colour papers and embellishment that catch my eye and I’m a big fan of making Mini Albums.  I love clustering, layering and textures on my pages.

So fortunate to join this great team in Scraptacular’ and happy to share my designs and my techniques to all scrappers.

I have been scrapbooking over 10 years. I have always loved Art and Craft.

My journey to scrapbooking has included painting, drawing, cross stitch, sewing scrunchies, folk art, and stamping. Once I had my daughter scrapbooking became my passion.

Not only does it give me a creative outlet, I am able to spend time with good friends and it affords me the opportunity to stop, take a breath, reflect and celebrate the important things in my life. 

My style is bright and bold and I am inspired by colour.

About 8 years ago I moved to Mentone, where I was introduced to scrapbooking in the form of Scraptacular.   

Both the shop and myself have relocated, Scraptacular to Cheltenham and me, just a little further.  In the first few years of scrapping, I actually ran out of photos, so I decided that I would have to get some … and so this started my passion for photography and travel. 

My scrapbooking addiction has lead me to travel around Australia, from Perth to Hobart, across central Australia and up the east coast. I have traveled New Zealand from top to bottom, to the UK, throughout Europe, to the US and across Canada, to the beautiful tropical islands of the South Pacific, throughout scandinavia and russia (drinking vodka with russians) and up into South East Asia – all so that I could scrap it!

I love to scrap in different styles, but I think my favourite is shappy chic!  I love bling, pearls, prima flowers and lace and where ever possible will add a stamp or two.
